MEET KIMBERLY 

Fighting for our future, together.

Kimberly Edwards is a Michigan state representative who ran for office to fight for equity and opportunity for all Michiganders. Edwards is a native Detroiter who graduated from St Martin de Porres High School. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Bennett College (Greensboro, NC). and masters degree from Walden University. She returned to her hometown to work in various Social work roles, serving as a community advocate. She has been a groundbreaker throughout her career, becoming the first Black woman to represent Macomb County in the State Legislature. She is known as a fierce advocate for women and girls, supporting legislation to promote workers rights, fight corporate greed, and promote community mental health services.
